As we reported earlier, we have been able to now confirm that Batman: Arkham Asylum will get not just one, but two download packs.

The first is slated to arrive on September 17th and is to be called “Insane Night.” The second will be arriving on September 24th and is said to be called “Prey in the Darkness.”

What we are not sure of is whether all three platforms will get both download packs. We know for certain that the PlayStation 3 will get both of them, but we can only confirm at this point that Insane Night will arrive on the Xbox 360 and PC platforms. It is still unknown if Prey in the Darkness will actually arrive for the Xbox 360 and PC.

From what we are hearing now, you should expect an official announcement soon from Warner Bros. Interactive. We are not sure what all of the mystery is about on this one; after all, it is only download content. We suspect, however, that much of the mystery could be surrounding the continued rumors that the PlayStation 3 will get more exclusive content that you will not be able to get on the Xbox 360 or PC platforms.
