We were keeping a relatively close eye on the upcoming Batman game, and now we stumbled upon a demonstration of Batman’s in-game stealth skills as well as Eidos' announcement about pre-order goodies. The footage was captured with a camera from a monitor at Comic Con but the quality is pretty good.

The trailer shows Batman doing what he does best – stalk, and we must admit that it looks as if the game is pretty fluid and fun as well. There are some nice moves and tools in Batman’s arsenal, and the gadgets are also there, but we’ll still hold our horses until we’ve tried it.

The game will launch on August 25th 2009 for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, but until then enjoy the trailer here.

Additionally, Eidos announced that those who pre-order Batman: Arkham Asylum from GAME will get a special Villains Challenge Map, where Batman will have to fight his nightmares and face-off with Scarecrow and his skeletons. You can check out the Villains Challenge Map screenshots here.
