Ballad of Gay Tony to arrive October 29th

Coming off the success of the first exclusive add-on for Grand Theft Auto IV for the Xbox 360, the second exclusive add-on called “The Ballad of Gay Tony” is set to arrive on October 29th, 2009. In a surprise move, as we told you about previously, a single disc that features both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony will be released at the same time.

360 users will have the option of downloading The Ballad of Gay Tony onto their hard drive or to purchase the combination disc, which will contain both add-ons. The combination disc will not require a copy of GTA IV to play, but of course the downloaded version will. While these two episodes have been called add-ons, based on The Lost and Damned we can tell you that they really feel more like a smaller version of GTA IV with new content and characters.

The Ballad of Gay Tony is said to feature a new story that centers on a story of loyalty, guns, glamour and underworld reality. When released, it is expected that the combination disc, which is being called “Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City,” will retail for $39.99, while the downloaded version will cost 1,600 Microsoft Points and is expected to take about 2GB on your hard drive.
