The new massive action game for the PlayStation 3 called MAG that received so much attention when shown at E3 appears to now have been delayed till 2010. MAG is joining the ever growing list of PS3 games that are being pushed out for a 2010 release.

MAG, which is being developed by Zipper Interactive, was supposed to be released in November in time for the holiday sales push, but our sources now confirm that the title will be pushed to at least January of 2010, but it might slip beyond that. Sony currently will not confirm that the release date for MAG has slipped, but it is likely that the news will be coming from official channels as soon as they can figure out a way to try to put a positive spin on the delay.

With the delay of MAG, it strikes another devastating blow to the PlayStation 3 holiday release schedule which has seen multiple titles pushed to 2010. Many PS3 fanboys have been crowing about the strength of the PS3 holiday title releases, but whispers continue that several other exclusive titles for the PS3 may also be in danger of slipping to 2010, according to our sources. We expect that we will hear more specifics in the next several weeks as publishers will have to green light releases for the holiday launch.
