Re-book your rooms now if you need to

In a back-to-the-future sort of move, id Software announced today that QuakeCon 2009 would return to Grapevine, Texas at the Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center, which was the site of both the 2004 and 2005 QuakeCon events.

No specific reason was given for the announcement that the event would be moving from the Hilton Anatole Hotel to the new venue other than the fact that it was a much better facility to hold the event in and much better suited for QuakeCon.

As one who experienced QuakeCon at the Gaylord, we can tell you that it is a welcomed move and it is an amazing facility. So, if you already had a room booked at the Hilton, you should get to rebooking your room at the Gaylord.

Check out the announcement at the official QuakeCon Website here.
