New FPS title from ETQW developer for Bethesda

We have been hearing a lot of whispers about an amazing new FPS title that has been in development by ETQW developer Splash Damage for Bethesda. Until now, not even the name of the title or any specific details have been known beyond the fact that many insiders say that the new title is amazing.

The name of the new title is called Brink and, according to Bethesda, you can expect Brink to be among the center piece attractions that the developer will be showing during E3. The game will be scheduled to arrive in the Spring of 2010 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms.

In an effort to make Brink successful, Splash Damage has been recruiting top talent from all of the design studios in England. A variety of programmers and designers have signed on for the project, including talent who worked on such titles as Black, Heavenly Sword, Fable II and Killzone 2.

Expect to hear more about Brink at E3, but if the video teaser that was released over the weekend is any indication, this will be one title to watch. The news that it will not ship this year might be disappointing, as it will not make the holiday season this time around, but it could contribute to a strong Spring for Bethesda in 2010.
