Gold gets deal on GRAW 2 Co-op Collection 2

In a surprise move, Konami has announced that Xbox Live Arcade will be getting Zombie Apocalypse within the next couple of months. The survival shooter title takes advantage of the dual analog stick controls to allow the player to eliminate wave after wave of brainless zombies in order to save the last remaining human survivors.

Zombie Apocalypse will offer a vast array of weapons, including rifles, flame throwers, and explosives. The game will support four player modes locally or via Xbox Live. The game will offer a variety of other attacks that players can use to avoid joining the ranks of the undead. Once players have completed the game, the challenge will not end as there an additional seven unlockable game modes.

Konami expects Zombie Apocalypse to be available during Q2 of 2009 for download via Xbox Live Arcade. PlayStation 3 owners will not be left out, as the game will also be available from the PlayStation Network. Pricing has not been set as yet.

In other Xbox Live news, Xbox Live members with Gold status will be able to take advantage of the deal of the week, which has continued to become quite popular. This week the deal of the week is the Ghost Recon 2 GRAW 2 Co-op collection 2, which for this week will be available for 320 Microsoft Points. This is a 20% savings over the normal 400 Microsoft Points price. GRAW 2 Co-op collection 2 includes nine new maps and eight new achievements to earn for a total of an additional 125 points.
