Spice Girls in E-mail scam

"Competition" games false

A scam E-mail being circulated in South America claims that a concert by the Spice Girls will be cancelled.

The scam suggests that South American fans will have to enter a competition to see the Spice Girls performing in the U.K. instead. However, the Spice Girls are reassuring fans in South America that the claims they've canceled a concert there are completely bogus.

In a statement the band said that the E-mail had not come from them and that the Argentinian performance would go ahead on a date yet to be confirmed. The band said that this E-mail is unofficial and has nothing to do with the Spice Girls performance there.
