After Resident Evil 5 came to PS3 and Xbox 360, RE5 producer Masachika Kawata shared some of his wishes, and Wii owners will sure be happy to hear them.

Mr. Kawata told Eurogamer TV that Nintendo fans shouldn’t despair for the technological inferiority of their console, as it apparently doesn’t pack enough juice to run the game. Fortunately, he added how he’d personally like to bring some Resident Evil to the Wii.

He also said that at the moment he can’t be quite sure of it as the fifth installment is just finished, but he offered a glimmer of hope saying to “watch this space”.
