Those Xbox 360 owners who have been addicted to Castle Crashers will be excited to learn that the first downloadable content for the title will arrive later today.

The Castle Crashers download content is known as the “King Pack” and it will go for 160 Microsoft Points. Little is known beyond the fact that you will get two new characters, a new animal orb, three new weapons, and new healing spell that will heal both yourself as well as your party.

The bigger surprise is that there will be no Microsoft Xbox Live Arcade release this week beyond the Castle Crashers: King Pack DLC. We are already hearing that we can expect “The Maw” from developer Twisted Pixel next week for 800 Microsoft Points.
