EA Games announced its plans to launch Trivial Pursuit, an adaptation of the classic board game, and the company plans on launching it for all the popular consoles, as well as mobile phones.

Although casual gaming might be an unknown for some with plenty of time at their disposal (yeah, I mean hard-core gamers), it’s quite a godsend for those who like killing half an hour here and there. So, this game might fare quite well on that field, as it’s one of the most popular family games around.

The game will launch in early March 2009 for PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii where the PS3 version comes on Blu-ray and at perhaps a bit steep price of $40. We've no info on other console or mobile phone pricing as of yet, but it should be close to that price point.
