Interpol coming Wednesday for Xbox 360

Several snippets of news have materialized this afternoon which are of interest to Xbox 360 owners. The biggest news is that we can now confirm that Forza 3 is in development for the Xbox 360 at Turn 10 studios after it was accidently leaked by partner Kaarboo Design, the company that did much of the graphics work for the original Forza Motorsport.

We suspect that a more in-depth announcement will be coming at either CES or perhaps in the E3 time frame, depending on what Microsoft has planned. No additional timetable details have been released, but our sources seem to think it is slated for a holiday release later in the year.

TikGames will be releasing Interpol: The Trial of Dr. Chaos, which is a puzzle game where you have to find clues in order to hunt down the fugitive Dr. Chaos as an elite Interpol agent. The game is slated to be released on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft points Wednesday, January 7th.

Two minor additional Xbox 360 news announcements of note is that a playable version of the Skate 2 demo from Electronic Arts will appear later this week, and it will be coupled with a sweepstakes where you can be entered for some great prizes just by downloading the demo.

We have also been hearing that Microsoft has been having some discussions with Treasure about the possibility of doing a revamped version of Radiant Silvergun for Xbox Live Arcade. According to sources the studio is considering re-doing this vertical scrolling shooter which was very popular in Japan and later only released for the Sega Saturn platform in Japan.

The game became a cult favorite in the U.S. with Saturn owners going to great lengths to acquire an import copy of the game. Our sources tell us that Treasure is currently undecided if they will proceed on the development of Radiant Silvergun for Xbox Live Arcade, but are at least studying the possibility.
