Capcom’s Blue Bomber surprise release for this week

We already knew that War World would be coming to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, but in a surprise announcement it will be joined by Mega Man 9 from Capcom.

The Blue Bomber is back in his 9th trip into video game land. Mega Man has been a top favorite from Capcom for years and the 800 point release on Xbox Live Arcade will be his first time to be released using Xbox Live Arcade as the distribution medium.

The game will pick up where Mega Man 8 left off and will continue to build on the very popular Mega Man formula. Users in Japan will not get to join the fun, as Mega Man 9 will be released everywhere except Japan. The game is rated “E” for everyone and is expected to do quite well on the Xbox 360.
