26th of September is Civ day

2K Games announced that Firefox Games will be shipping Civilization IV: Colonization as of today.

This is a remake of Colonization, a legendary title from 1994.

It’s built on CIV 4 engine, but graphics are significantly improved. User interface also got a revamp and both diplomacy screen and modding tools were greatly enhanced and packed full of options.

The game is exclusive to PC users, and the official launch date is 26th of September.
