BioShock coming to PlayStation 3

2K Games confirmed that the PS3 version of this popular shooter will be coming to North America on October 21st, whereas Europeans will have to wait until October 24th.

Cristoph Hartmann, the president of 2K Games, said that they’re proud to introduce BioShock to an entirely new audience and how the game now features new add-on game content which will maintain the game’s charm.

Apart from the standard PC and XboX 360 features, this version will introduce downloadable challenge rooms and PS3’s Trophy support.

Although the company, right after releasing the original, revealed its plans to release a sequel, we have yet to see it hitting the shelves as it's been two years since the original game came out, and that's the period they stated to be perfect for a sequel.
