PC version of FFOW to finally get Demo

1.1.1 Update could be released in July

After Kaos spent a good deal of time mapping out where they are planning to take Frontlines Fuel of War, news reached us today that the long-awaited demo for the PC version of the game will be released in mid-July.

The release of a demo for the PC version has been pushed back several times so that the developers could focus on the patches and updates to the game itself. Many believe that the lack of a demo has ultimately hurt the sales of the PC version of the game.

As for the PC demo, it will be based on the 1.1.1 version of the game and will include two maps. In addition, it will be in English only and require no CDKey validation. The two maps to be included in the demo are likely to be Oilfield and GNAW.

The fact that the PC demo will be based on the 1.1.1 version of the code leads us to suspect that the 1.1.1 patch will be also released around the same time as the PC demo, and our sources confirm that this will be the case.
