New WOW expansion in 2H 2008

Wrath of the Lich King

 

Vivendi, a parent company of Blizzard Entertainment, officially anounced that the new expansion to ultra popular World of Warcraft will be available in second half of 2008, and will be called Wrath of the Lich King.

The first WOW expansion, The Burning Crusade, sold more than 2,4 million copies in the first 24 hours.

This new expansion should contain numerous novelties and it should be set in Northern Realm. Arthas, a noble prince and sucessor to Lordaeron that turned undead in Warcraft III Reign of Chaos, will be featured in this expansion as the main bad guy.
