Starts October 10th

Blizzard
has officially announced that its BlizzCon 2008 event will be held on October 10-11th at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

Blizzard announces that fans will have a chance to get hands-on play time with upcoming releases, play in tournaments, attend the discussion panels with Blizzard's developers, and as you might expect from Blizzard, "more exciting activities which are going to be announced."

With Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King just around the corner, we doubt that fans will be disappointed; after all, this is the all famous BlizzCon. Tickets will be available for sale in the next few weeks for $100 a piece.

In the meantime, you can check out the official BlizzCon Website here.
