England vs. Germany

EA has released a demo for its upcoming UEFA Euro 2008 football sim. In the demo version you're limited to a single match, England vs. Germany. Come to think of it, the same adversaries would look great in a WWII shooter, but football will have to do.

This is the only officially licensed UEFA Euro 2008 video game. For our readers who are not into football, the Euro Cup is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) sporting event on the continent, held every four years.

The game itself features all national team players, teams and stadiums that will be a part of the event. It also has a "Captain Your Country" mode which allows you to take the helm of your national team and lead it to glory, (or absolute failure, followed by your immediate resignation, slow descent into alcoholism, depression and a lifelong subscription to hate mail n.ed.). There's also the Battle of the Nations online mode, which will allow you totake on gamers from around the world.

The game is slated for April 11th in the EU, and May 20th in the States. It is being developed for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP as well as mobile phones.

You can get the demo here.
