Taken at the Games Convention

Ubisoft's Far Cry 2 Demo footage from the Games Convention 07 has appeared on the net. It is a pre-alpha build but it still looks promising.

As we wrote before new Far Cry 2 is set in Africa, and as the demo states it will feature humans, or plain people, so there will be no mutants this time.

Demo also shows some of the key included features of the game. For starters, extremely aggressive AI, wind that influences fire and that everything is destroyable, like trees and houses and every other object that you come across in the game.

Anyway, game is still scheduled for spring 2008. You can check out the demo footage here.
