The Nintendo DS Lite continues to be the best selling game console in Japan, with shipments of almost 140,000 units for the week ending 8 July 2007. Wii came in second with sales at about half that number.

The PSP and PS2 sales were much less, with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 sales trailing dramatically.

Hardware sales in Japan for the week ending 8 July 8 were as follows:
