Supply problems

Sources within the game console industry indicate that Nintendo is getting angry at regular shortages in supply of products.  The Wii suffered from shortages of supply in the early stages of release.

Now according to sources within the company, Nintendo is looking at its supply chains to see if there is any vulnerability.

Nintendo is particularly concerned about its reliance on Foxconn Precision Components (FPC) which seems unable to provide enough products on time.

The company has approached Asustek and Wistron which ironically make the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. The Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 all suffered from supply shortages too.
