Micro sim included

Austrian Telecom has its own subsidiary and a secret network called Bob. This  network is among the cheapest in the country as it offers 1000 conversation minutes to all Austrian networks and 1000 text messages for €8.80 a month, which is really a bargain compared to other networks.

This time they have a micro sim card, ready for your iPad, in case you want one and the 1GB card will cost you €14.90. You can check it and order here.

Once you spend your first gigabyte every additional will cost you €4, which so far makes this the most attractive offer for iPad we seen so far. German O2 wants 15 € for a single gigabyte and 25 € for 5GB. You can find it here.

The good thing about this is that you don’t have to sign the contract - it's pay as you go plan. If you don’t have an iPad you can get a normal sim card for the same money or an UMTS USB modem for €49.90. You only need to live in Austria so this can make sense for you and 3G surfing can be really affordable.
