New iPhone, Maps app rumoured

hacks have found some sketchy info on what could be the fourth generation of Apple's iPhone.

Designated iPhone 3.1, the device appeared in PinchMedia's iBART application for San Francisco public transportation, which recorded iPhone 3,1 units in its usage logs during November. No further details or specs are known at the moment, but the next gen iPhone is expected to cure cancer and bring peace to the Mid East.

AppleInsider also found an vacancy ad for developers willing to take part in the development of a new Maps application for the iPhone.
