Palm and Sprint getting ready for launch

If the current whispers we hear are accurate, look for Palm and Sprint to make an official announcement as to the launch schedule for the Pre in the Wall Street Journal on May 19th.

The actual launch date of the Pre has created quite a stir, with many potential customers interested in the Pre and what it can offer over the competition We think that that an actual launch announcement is likely on May 19th, but we still stand by our prediction that it will be unlikely that you will be able to get one in your hands before June.

While late May might be possible for a soft launch, we think it is very unlikely that actual Sprint stores will have any serious number of Pre phones till June.
