Qik Inc announced alpha-support for RIM BlackBerry devices, including BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry Bold.

Qik is live video streaming platform for mobile phones that allows users to broadcast video on the Internet. Official Qik’s site allows for live viewing and chatting with the broadcaster.

Qik alpha version currently supports phones based on BlacBerry OS 4.5 and higher - BlackBerry Pearl 8120, 8130 and BackBerry Bold, whereas BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Pearl Flip will have to wait a bit more.

BlackBerry users can register on Qik’s official page and beta testing should commence in the following few weeks.
