Expects to sell 10,000 on the first day

Carphone Warehouse
, Europe's biggest independent phone dealer, believes it can sell as many as 10,000 iPhones on its first day of sales. The company has 800 retail outlets across the U.K., and as previously reported, the iPhone is coming to Europe on November 9th.

Apple is still keeping its mouth closed about its sales expectations in Europe, but as we can see, Carphone Warehouse is optimistic about the launch.

The iPhone launches next Friday at 6 P.M. in the U.K., and the retailer has announced that it will keep its stores open for an additional four hours to keep up with the expected demand.
