IBM claims iPhone will be hacker target

While Apple says that it is new iPhone will come with some good security features, IBM says that the phone has such a high profile hackers will want to bring it down.

For the iPhone to be a success, Apple has to hype it until enough people want to pay the huge amount of money required to buy it.

IBM security experts said that the kudos that a member of the hacker community would get taking out such a high profile target would be huge.

The hackers have had lots of experience making attacks on other mobile phone platforms, like the Symbian platform. While these sorts of attacks will not be possible against the iPhone. It will not be long before they give it a go, he warned.
