Cebit 2010: New AMD board

Asrock is among many that plan to release AMD 890GX based boards with integrated Radeon 4290 graphics. This is still a board based on DirectX 10.1 core and we expect to see AMD's integrated chipsets with DirectX 11 in 2011, but Fusion CPU with integrated graphics is likely to be the first integrated DirectX 11 core.

Asrock 890GX extreme 3 board has three PCIe 16X and supports Quad Crossfire and 3-way Crossfire, and lets not forget the Hybrid Crossfire. The board supports AM3 CPUs including all Phenom II X4,X3 and X2 except 920 and 940, but it can support AMD CPus all tht way to 140W TDP.

The board also comes with three USB 3.0 read ports, Gbit LAN, 7.1 Channal HD Audio with VIA VT2020 and a single eSATA connector. Lets not forget the 6 SATA 3 6.0Gb/s connectors and three PCI ports. You can get some additional details below.

The company also has smaller micro ATX based version of the board that has a single PCIe 16X slot, the same integrated graphics and two PCI slots, but the rest of the board looks quite similar, the SATA 3 and USB 3 are there among nice overclocking features.
