Written by Slobodan Simic

Together with the new CPUs

According to what we managed to find out, AMD is going to launch a new version of Overdrive utility together with its Phenom II X4 955BE and 945 as well as Athlon X2 7850 processors on the 23rd of April.

The new 3.0 beta version should bring some overclocking improvements, but AMD still hides the exact details. We know that it will have some chipset ralated improvements but we will have to wait for the 23rd to see how good those improvements are, unless of course someone manages to get their hands on it.

There are a lot of things going on at AMD, and there may be some interesting surprises in April.
