Affordable Flaming Blade

After Bloodrage and Bloodrage GTI, Foxconn is apparently preparing yet another motherboard based on Intel's X58 chipset. Guys from watch.impress.co.jp managed to snap some pictures of it and according to the info, the new Flaming Blade X58 motherboard is a part of Foxconn's Quantum Force series but should be aimed at those budget-minded consumers.

The new Flaming Blade X58 motherboard comes with "only" three DDR3 memory slots, has two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots, six SATA 3.0 Gbps and two eSATA ports, dual Gigabit LAN, integrated 7.1-channel audio, and on board power and reset buttons. Unlike its pricey brethren, this one features a 6-phase power desing and less complex cooling solution.

The new, and most importantly, affordable Flaming Blade X58 motherboard should be available soon with a price tag of around US $210. This is indeed a decent price tag as the Foxconn X58 Renaissaince currently retails at US $259.99 at Newegg, and some X58 based motherboards reach an incredible price of US $398.99.
