As low as it gets

If you're on a budget, building a secondary PC or an HTPC, or if you're just plain cheap, here's something that you might find interesting.

Newegg is listing a 690G motherboard for just $29.99 after a mail-in rebate. The ECS AMD690GM-M2 is a socket AM2 mATX board, ideal for budget machines and HTPCs. Although it lacks on-board HDMI, you can connect it to your TV via a DVI to HDMI dongle.

Paired with one or two gigabytes of memory, a BE Athlon or LE Sempron it might be an ideal choice for a variety of uses at an unbeatable price.

You can get it here.
