AMD 790FX chipset launches on the 20th

We have confirmed that AMD's Quad Crossfire supporting AMD 790FX chipset will officially launch on the 20th of November.

Many boards are ready and you can even purchase some of them now, but officially you should not be able to buy one until November 20th.

This might be the launch date for the Phenom FX 8x generation, but we still haven’t confirmed this one. It sounds about right to us, as this has been the original schedule for quite some time.
