By chance we found that Gigabyte's GA-MA790FX-DS4 motherboard has been priced for sale and it looks like a good alternative for those looking for a 790FX board on a budget, as it's listed online for between €151.10 and €181.95 in Germany.

None of the retailers seems to have the board in stock yet, but some retailers are claiming that they will have it in stock within 48 hours.

The board features two x16 PCI Express slots, three x1 slots and two standard PCI slots. It also has six SATA ports, 7.1-channel HD audio with S/PDIF, six rear USB 2.0 ports, FireWire and dual Gigabit LAN, according to one of the retailer's specifications.
