Middle of the month

AMD's new chipset for socket AM2 and AM2+ is about to launch some time in the middle of October. The final chipset revision is out and we are just waiting for the final designs of the boards.

RD790 will bring PCIe 2.0 and four PCIe slots to these motherboards and we've heard that it might be quite a good overclocker as well.

Nvidia will have its own Nforce 780a and 750a coming shortly and it looks like yet another fight between these two companies for the chipset performance crown.

Knowing Nvidia, we believe that it might end up with more Southbridge features and Nvidia's new chipset should be launched by November.
