Circu-Pipe cooling and X-Fi audio

MSI has launched a new motherboard based on Intel's X38 Express chipset with support for DDR3 memory, the MSI X38 Diamond.

The new motherboard comes with the support for FSB1333 and 45nm Intel processors. It has 4 PCI Express x16 slots with support for PCIe 2.0 and ATI CrossFire. The new Diamond board is designed with a Dual-channel PWM, it is a 2 pairs shielded choke and MOSFET base on the basic 4-phase PWM. It is cooled by the MSI Circu-pipe design which is also connected to the PCIe extender chip. MSI has also announced that future revision might end up with water-cooling option.

The new X38 Diamond features X-Fi Xtreme audio card and MSI claims that they are the first one. It also features a dual Gigabit LAN, MSI SkyTel VoIP function and 2 eSATA2 ports. It also features the overclocking-friendly design like LED POST, instant button and much more.
It sure looks like a "diamond" in the X38 lineup.
