Corsair has announced the launch of its new TX series of power supplies.
The new TX series will be available in two varieties, as both a 650W and 750W model. Both feature a single +12V rail, efficiency higher than 80 percent and 99 percent Active PFC. The 750W model is cooled by a thermally controlled double ball-bearing 140mm fan, while the 650W model has a standard 120mm fan.
The 750W model features a maximum load of 60A on the +12V rail, while the 650W has 52A. Both models feature one ATX 24 pin, one ATX12V 8 pin, eight SATA, eight 4-pin molex and two floppy connectors. The only difference in connectors is that the 750W model will feature four PCI-e connectors while the 650W is left with only two.
According to Corsair, the Corsair TX Series is available immediately, at a suggested retail price of US$179.99 for the 650W model and $199.99 for the 750W model. The lowest price we could find in Europe is €111,21 for the 650W and €131,20 for the 750W model. We couldn't find it in stock yet, but that will change soon.
