New DDR2 and DDR3 ReaperX Kits

OCZ has announced two new high speed, high capacity memory kits in its new ReaperX HPC series. The first one is a DDR2 memory kit working at 1000MHz, and second one is a DDR3 kit working at 1333MHz.

The new OCZ DDR2 PC2-8000 ReaperX HPC works at 1000MHz with 5-5-5-18 latencies, and it will be available as a 4GB (2x2048MB) dual channel kit. It works at 2.1 Volts with OCZ's extended voltage protection to up to 2.15V. It is also backed up by OCZ's lifetime warranty.

The second one is OCZ DDR3 PC3-10666 working at 1333MHz DDR with 6-5-5-18 latencies, and this one will be available as 2GB (2x1024MB) or 4GB (2x2048) dual channel kits. It operates at 1.85 Volts, which can be raised to 1.9V without compromising the lifetime warranty, thanks to OCZ's extended voltage protection.

Crytek's new FPS Crysis will surely benefit from additional memory with such tight latencies, since it certainly pushed the recommended memory amount much higher than what we've grown used to.
