The ATV and ATV Turbo

OCZ Technology has announced new series of ultra fast and "extremely rugged" flash drives called ATV and ATV Turbo. The new flash drives are designed to offer shock and water-proof design in combination with high speed.

The first one is just plain ATV as it offers mainstream speeds and it comes as an affordable option. The plain ATV features shock and water-proof design. As for the specifications, the ATV will offer read speed of 30MB/s and write speed of 14MB/s, comes with Dual Channel Technology and has a orange LED status light. The ATV will be available in capacities of 2GB, 4GB and 8GB.

The ATV Turbo also has an shock and water-proof design, with yellow rubber housing. Specifications of the ATV Turbo are a bit different, as it offers read speed of 35MB/s and write speed of 30MB/s. It also uses Dual channel technology, and it will be available only in 4GB capacity.

Both flash drives come with attached cap holder and a Lifetime warranty. Those two look like highly endurable and fast little things.
