Computex 07: 1600MHz and high latency

Apacer a less well know part of the Acer group specialises in memory products and was one of the first manufacturers to show of a DDR3 12800 or 1,600MHz module on the show.

It has rather high latencies of 9-9-9, so it's unlikely that it'll perform that much better of 1,333MHz modules with lower latencies.

It's heatpipe cooled, although this doesn't make a lot of sense for DDR3 memory, but it looks quite cool.

There was no word on availability of these modules.
