Computex 08: Nvidia is the coolest customer

Ian Drew, the Vice president of ARM marketing, just said that, “We (ARM) think Nvidia is the coolest customer.” This is quite a bold statement for this mobile phone CPU manufacturer.

All of Intel’s cherry picked 55 Websites didn’t work on ARM and now they do, among them Mozilla, Adobe Flash 9 and Opera browser.

Nvidia’s Tegra has Arm 11 CPU which powers Nvidia’s new notebook platform. The products based on the Tegra platform should be in stores by holiday season 2008.

We also noticed that ARM itself was not too happy about Intel or Atom, so at least Nvidia has someone by its side.
