We had a chance to take a picture of AMD's Toliman tri-core CPU and from what we can see it works quite well. J&W, the new motherboard kid in town decided to show it and reveal it to the world.

The Phenom 8600 is currently based on the DR-B2 revision, but we were told that there will be a B3 version to follow. The 8600 CPU has three cores and it works at 2.3GHz.

It uses 1.2V, has 1.5MB of L2 and 2MB of L3 cache memory and here is how it looks.
