Fujitsu launches Lifebook V1010

$799 value notebook

 

Fujitsu has announced the launch of its new LifeBook V1010 series notebook. We are talking about a 15.4 inch model for value oriented customers.

The $800 notebook comes with a 15.4 inch Crystal View WXGA display, 1.86GHz Dual Core T2130 with integrated Intel GMA 950, 1GB of DDR2 533MHz memory, 120GB SATA hard drive and Dual-Layer DVD writer. For just a  hundred bucks more you can get an upgrade to 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo T5200 and 2GB of 667 DDR2.

Other features include Integrated Atheros Super AG wireless LAN, multinational 56k V.90 modem and 10/100 Ethernet LAN. This value notebook weight 6.2 pounds or just below 3kg. The notebook comes with the six cell battery that will provide just a bit over two hours of normal work. You can choose between Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Professional.
