Penryn 45 nm launches at the 12th of November

IDF 2007: Servers and high end desktop


Intel's CEO just confirmed that the company is producing its 45 nanometre processors codename Penryn and that the company will be ready to launch these new chips on the November the 12th.


To our surprise it will launch high end desktop and the server chips and the company is open about its launch date.


He didnt specified but the company will launch both dual and quad cores.
