Intel has informed its own partners that by the end of 2010, 25 percent of Intel's CPUs will feature a integrated graphics.

We are talking about 32nm Clarkdale CPU that has 45nm graphics and this means that in late 2010 Intel might be making more money per Core than it used to, simply as it now has an IGP to offer.

This trend will continue as in Q1 2011 the company plans Sandy Bridge, a dual and quad core with monolithic integrated 32nm graphics. The future in Intel’s case will be a mix predominated by an IGP on CPU and for Intel this is nothing than good news, as it means better margins on products.
