2.33GHz with 4MB cache

Intel is about to make its quad-core portfolio even stronger. We've learned that Q6600, the good old 65nm 2.4GHz quad-core, is still selling quite well and Q9300 at 2.5GHz clock and 6MB cache is also a good seller.

The Q9300 sells for close to €200 in European e-tail, but in a few weeks Intel plans to introduce a new and cheaper version of its 45nm quad-core.

It will brand it Q8200 and this 2.33GHz CPU will work with FSB 1333 and will feature 4MB cache. It has four cores and four threads and its TDP is 95W.

We can suggest that Q8200 will end up priced between €150 and €200 at launch.
