With a Gainward Radeon HD 4850

Intel's upcoming 2.93GHz Bloomfield processor has found its way to Tomshardware Taiwan and they've put it through its paces using a Foxconn Renaissance X58 motherboard and a Gainward Radeon HD 4850 graphics card, but sadly it only has 2GB of DDR3 memory; hence no triple-channel action.

The only downside is that the tests were run at 1,280x1,024, so it doesn't look like there was a lot of strain on the various components. Nonetheless, the system scores 5,632 in PCMark Vantage and 9,852 in PCMark 05, with the CPU score in PCMark 05 coming in at a respectable 9,583.

The overall 3DMark Vantage score was P7,182, while in 3DMark 06 the overall score was 20,300. There's also a couple of Crysis CPU tests; CPU test1 came out with 33.70 and CPU test2 with 18.29.

No overclocking attempts were made, although this might be due to the early stage of the motherboard, despite the fact that Foxconn seemed to have the most finished looking X58 motherboard during Computex last month.
