AMD's soon-to-be-launched K10 B3 stepping is ready to rock and roll, and pilot production and sampling have already begun. This won't speed up the introduction of these new revision cores that is still scheduled for Q1 2008, but it should make the company look better.

The new B3 won't be any faster than B2 stepping, but it will be more stable and will fix the nasty tlb bug. At the same time, it will allow some higher clock speeds and even at higher speeds it won't have the tlb bug.

AMD played the honesty card with the tlb bug, and made a worse scandal about it than anyone had hoped, but luckily for the company B3 is bug free; it is just terribly late.
