2.2GHz drops to €211

After months of delays, AMD managed to ship the 2.3GHz based Phenom 9600, and as of today the chips are out and ready. If you decide you want one, you will have to pay about €260 for a single one and you will get a retail box with B2 revision of the core; and you can hope that you can overclock it more.

At the same time Phenom 9500, clocked at 2.2GHz, has dropped to €211 and it is also available today. Originally, two weeks before it showed its face in retail / e-tail, it cost around €240, but now it sells for less money but still much higher than its suggested retail price of €169.

With that price, AMD should at least sell some.

You can get the 2.3GHz part here and 2.2GHz part here.
