Live demonstration

AMD has showcased its 3GHz quad core Phenom FX CPU for the second time now. The population likes to call this one Barcelona 3 GHz but I guess it’s the same, as they are the same processors.

It is good to know that a rather normal looking cooler can cool such a machine and it can play Video and surf the web.
Unfortunately it will be a while until you are able to buy one of these machines with such a clock.

Our colleagues at ocworkbench have more about it here.
